I recently bought a 95 Grand prix from a local dealership. After only having the vehicle a week, I noticed that the oil and antifreeze was mixing together. I took the car back and the guy there said that he would make it right. He had the car for 1 1/2 weeks, and then gave the car back. It's only been two weeks, and I now noticed that the oil has gasoline in it. Not only that after sitting for an hour I went back to check the oil and the antifreeze is mixing again. Now if the guy said that he fixed it and it is doing it again what is the problem?

I dont quite understand your qustion. If you put some gas in a container and then put some oil in it and shake it it will mix. Most small engines are 2-stroke engines and most 2-stroke engines run on a mix of gas and oil becuase they dont have a seperate oil system like cars do. In cars you wouldn't want to mix oil with your gas, but if a little bit gets mixed in it probably wont hurt your car. It will just run smokey until all the oil is out of the system. On newer cars with small engines it may run a little rough as well.

That is a serious problem that you are explaining. The mixing of gas, oil, and anifreeze is probably occuring because your head gaskt is blown. This is a pretty expensive fix so he may be trying to jimmy rig it together to hold until he is no longer liable. It could also occur if there is a crack in the block of your engine. If this is the case your car is worthless. Try to return the car. Many states have a lemon law so if he doesn't take it back try to read up on the laws govrning auto sales in your state. Good Luck!
