I currently have 30 credits in Information Technology at this 2 year college and i'm thinking of switching to this 4 year college and change my degree to MIS (because this 4 yr college doesnt have IT degree plan).
I'm trying to make sure if this is a wise decision or if I should just finish up my Associate in information technology??? I don't want to finish a degree and end up jobless.
Any knowledgeable answers will be greatly appreciated : )

MIS has a wider application for jobs. IT is a little more specialized. although both are very similar.

MIS students almost always get jobs. almost every company from the liqueur store, to restaurants, to doctor offices and the larger department stores, etc. use MIS technology and specialists to help run their companies.

It is a harder major then the typical students who take women studies and physiology.

Good for you for taking a real major!
