Take your receipt or if you do not have your receipt and you used a credit card you can probably have them run your card to prove the purchase.

maximum places which have those use sensormatic tags or checkpoint tags. Sensormatic tags use radio waves and the tag is sort of a receiver. The checkpoint tags ought to be demagnitized to maintain them from placing off the alarms. Neither has to do with metallic detection. all the tags are hidden in places the place you will no longer know they have them. The Sensormatic tags could properly be made to seem as though a label that belongs on the product or element of the product. it somewhat is not the e book's barcode, yet possibly a sensormatic tag. they're flat and approximately an inch sq.. The checkpoint tags are approximately an inch long and a couple of a million/4" extensive and are raised and usually white. they could disguise between the sensormatic tags up interior the backbone of the e book and additionally you're able to by no ability even pay it any interest that it became into there.

If you have your receipt, I'm sure they would understand. I think it's crazy that the store's security alarms didn't go off. You would have to get it taken out by the store's associates. Otherwise you are going to ruin your skirt if you take it out yourself. If it's one of those dye tags, it could explode if tampered with. And it is merely impossible to take apart the tags with the sharp needle on one side. I should know...I use to work in retail. So make sure that you have your receipt with you. If you don't have your receipt, then maybe you can ask for the manager. I'm sure they would have surveillance cameras to view if it has to come down to it. Good luck.

Take the skirt and the receipt back to the store. Then just explain what happened. They shouldn't give you a hard time about it since it was their fault in the first place!

You must be a shoplifter...:)

.... no wonder if the PC you are logged on is also stolen from a Pawn shop.

Just kidding --- on a serious note, take the skirt back and get it removed at the store even if you don't have the receipt...they can pull the info. by your credit card or just by your phone number.

Good luck!

If you still have the receipt for it there should be no problems returning it to the store and they will remove the tag for you. I have had this happen before and haven't had the receipt and after explaining my circumstances they have still taken the tag off for me. Just be honest and confident!

show them the reciept... but if u dont have it and u really wanna chance ripping it (and this only works if its one of those long beeper tags.. and not the circular ink tag) but put each end of the long tag under each of ur feet and hold tight to the extra material w/ the small circular part with both hands and pull straight up and hard. but like i said u could chance ripping it so i would just search for the reciept.
it happened to me before (w/ two pairs of jeans) when i was on vacation and i had no way of returning it, so i tried that and it worked

You will ruin your skirt if you even try to get that thing off. Bring it back to the store with the receipt and you will have no problem.

There isn't a way to get it off by yourself. Take it back to the store with the receipt and explain that they didn't take it off and ask them to take it off and there you are, no more trouble.
