The one's that don't say "In God We Trust" are coins made by mistake. The new normal dollar coins do have "In God We Trust." Anyway, I prefer the old two dollar coins better.

I think the new dollar coins is a nice novelty, but I think that is all it is...a novelty. Dollar coins are just too heavy and inconvenient to carry around like paper dollars. The new coins do still have the "In God We Trust" marked on them. It's engraved on the edge.

I'll probably buy a few and toss them in the same box with the Sacajawea dollars, and the other misfits coins.
I just read the other answers and see that the wording on the coin was a mistake. ok- I would still put a few away.
I like the folding money better for everyday use. Easier to store and not heavy.

The article I read said it was a mistake. You know what that means? Same thing as those faulty Wisconsin quarters. Whoever ends up with one of the faulty Dollar coins stands to make a whole lot more than a buck!

Makes me wish that I ordered some. I didn't because I figured they'd flop like the others (Susan B. Anthony; Golden Doller, etc.)
They'll be worth lots more!
Me personally, I wouldn't keep it if I had one I'd sell it!!

It was supposedly a mistake-but either way it doesn't matter to me-as long as it spends the same way...
