Wear miniskirts, maybe plaid, just go for a kind of schoolgirl feel, you can also put your hair in pigtails, etc. if you're talking about the genuine prep look...Wiki says:

Fashion-wise, the term "preppy" is associated not with dramatic designer fashions, but with conservative clothing and accessory brands such as Lacoste, Brooks Brothers, L.L. Bean, J.Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Vineyard Vines, Vera Bradley, Lilly Pulitzer, Gant, CK Bradley, North Face, and Patagonia. An example of preppy attire would be a button-down Oxford cloth shirt, cuffed khakis, and cordovan loafers.

If you're going for the current usage of prep look, try shopping at:

Banana Republic, Club Monaco, Hollister Co., American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, The Gap, Structure, Aeropostale, Killer Loop, and H&M.

Also from Wikipedia...good luck!

Polo's are preppy, particularly pastel colors. straightened hair also looks preppy as well as modest make up that accentuates your best features, eyes, lips, cheek bones etc.

one thing that you can do thats inexpensive is go to A+F or Hollister and buy a sweatshirt with the name... then go to a smaller more inexpensive clothing store like Khols or Target or something and buy polos or just a simple shirt. Those sweatshirts will give you the preppy brand name and look, while you are wearing inexpensive clothes underneath.

Try to wear plain polo shirts in cool colors like baby pink, light green and light blues. Pair it with a checkered shorts or pedal pushers. White sneakers are cool ideas when you go to the malls or coffee shop. A pair of light colored flip flops when going around the neighborhood and a big square bag.

Go to target or something and you will find cute clothes for great prices.

I would go for flirty skirts in all kinds of different colors, and light makeup. Also try shopping for accessories at claires they have lots of cute preppy accessories and bags and stuff.

because of the fact i would be unable to verify the clothing i would be unable to make an entire judgment; from what i'm able to verify whether it does not seem particularly preppy. you have the black hair band/ribbon/thingy which leads me to have self assurance so. The expression isn't JUBILATED! (particularly happy) additionally. (Going of stereotypes here sorry =P)
