My Sims 2 University game dosent want to install!?

I have tried everything, but when I load it, it works, but aroung 28% completion, it has an error and it aborts from loading. Also for the sims 2 site, it won't let me register my game and I am the only one who had the game.

try and contact the Sims tech support no idea what could be causing that problem
