I’m looking for some advice, I had been on birth control for the last 11/2 years, it’s been three months since off of it and unlike my last periods that have always come on the same day, same time as the month this one is different. I was supposed to start Monday, had bad cramps and now their gone, I feel fine. I don’t want to embarrass myself by going to a doctor if I’m over reacting.. but is 2-3 days late surprising?

It's hard to say for sure. You can go ahead and take a home pregnancy test now if you want, any brand should be positive by now if you are pregnant. There are many reasons for a period to be delayed or missed and many are completely natural and nothing to worry about. Stress is a major factor so any amount of stress could mess up your cycle. Also, a trip to the drs may not be a bad idea b/c he/she can do a blood test for pregnancy and if it is negative they will be able to tell you what is keeping your period away and make sure that everything with that is okay. Best Wishes!

It is very easy to get pregnant once you come off of the birth control pill So if you don't want to be embarresed (but all woman do it) and you have had unprotected sex my best advice for you is to go to your local store and by a home pregnancy test the one I would use if I was you cause I know they work is FIRST RESPONSE.

February has less days than every other month. It can throw an expected day to start your period off if you don't take it into consideration.
