Fish are highly gestural shimmy a little and point your nose surfaceward

if you fish friend goes sideways the mood is different than if a move towards the upper part of the water happens

If you remain calm while your fish friend is floating calmly then energize as the fish energizes you'll have more common areas of mutual water perception yay mermaids

Actually i kind of talked to my fish before, just that i can't hear what is he saying although he is opening his mouth!
I suggest you put your face very near to the tank and open your mouth like how a fish does it and he will follow suit. It does not always work , so the key is to be patient and of course do not expect to talk about anything intellectual in nature

Hey, maybe he can't talk, but he can respond! My pond goldfish come when I call--I have them trained to come to me when I tap loudly on the side of the pond three times, then feed them. They know that when they hear the tapping, dinner is served!

George is probably wondering the same thing about you.
He probably talks to you all the time and you never answer him. That is very rude.

Maybe George isn't his name and he thinks you're talking to someone else.

It's not that he doesn't like you or want to talk to you, it's just that he can't hear you!! Try sticking your head in his bowl and he will be able to hear you better!! Really hope this helps!!!

Maybe he speaks in a different frequency and you cannot hear him. Try putting on a hearing aid.

No, it's because he can't hear you. You have to make fishy shapes with your lips right up next to the glass.
