Has to be Nokia. Besides being user friendly, they are also technology leaders. I wish they made phones trendy for US customers. Personally, I found Nokia phones are sturdy. My N90 fell down more than 4 times on solid floor but still has not missed a beat - everything works. My colleague ran over his Nokia with his SUV by mistake and found that the phone still works eventhought the display is broke!

The nokia's are apparently the most user friendly, but i think most of them [except for songEricsons] are pretty easy to use. All Motorola's tend to freeze, but all the samsungs and nokia's iv had have been really reliable and are very near unbreakable. =]
