Only if you set up your Router to a open feed as in its not protected at all by a password. I have the same thing and am new with the whole wireless thing and I asked the same question to the company I get Internet from. I have a password on mine so I am all good. If you have what I have and that is DSL with wireless then you will be fine cause the set up has a password on it and no one can get Internet off you.

Yes, I suggest you get the name of your router company and look up default ip for "name of company" router. once you find it, enter it into your browser adress bar and look around until you find the security features. I use a MAC adress filter. You add all your computers MAC IDs to a list and they are the only ones that may access your wireless.

yes, as long as your neighbour has a wireless NIC installed in his desktop, and you do not have the encryption enabled on your router,, if you use the encryption, nobody can use your wireless but you or anyone you allow..

Of course your neighbor can log into your router and steal your bandwidth. Of course, they have to have a method of wireless connection as well.

Just make sure you have your WEP encryption key set with a password all the time. Secure your router. Use your routers's software or use windows WEP located in your wireless network properties in control panel

It is possible if they have a wireless adapter installed on their desktop and you have an unsecure network.

Configure your router so that it requires password login for access, otherwise it'll be a free for all to anyone within 100 ft more or less.

Most likely not because the signal distance doesn't reach that far in most cases. Unless your neighbor's in the next room of course.
