No. He is making a fortune by peddling a bunch of old wives' tales and cures that don't work. Don't spend the money for baloney.

Kevin Trudeau has been sued by the Federal Trade Commission more than once for his false and misleading promotion of various vitamin concoctions, including "coral calcium." FTC finally won the battle to prevent him from producing any more TV infomercials for vitamin -type products ever again.
The court order does not infringe his 1st amendment right to publish material as long as the published material does not promote a specific product ( in which case the publication becomes "commercial speech").
Natural Cures "They" don't want you to know about, as has been suggested is: 1) revenge on the FTC 2) A giant sales letter. 3) Another get rich quick scheme benefiting Trudeau. With so many good, well research books, on natural remedies it would be a waste of money to purchase yet another disappointment from Trudeau.

The book is basically a giant "sales letter" for his newsletter. The source of the book is apparently three different health books that used to sell on clickbank. It provided great sensationalism and sold a lot of books.
But as you can see here this FTC release, Trudeau is the only person is history to have been banned from ever being in an infomercial again.

There are many things in the book which are a shadow of the truth. People who refer to this stuff as "unsubstantiated wive's tales" tend to lack the research background to know the difference and do not realize that modern pharmacology derives from the naturally occuring chemicals found in the roots and herbs from nature. They can't be Patented so the drug companies do not have a financial incentive to support natural versions of the artificial copies they make, Patent and put into their drugs.
So take it all with a grain of salt. ;-)

Yes and no. He mostly tells you about the preventative qualities in some products. This has been known to prevent cancer. This has been known to prevent colds. ETC.
Now, actually cure something? Let me tell it to you like this. There is no cure for cancer. There has never been a single cure for a virus. Bacteria can be cured by antibiotics. Take a good multivitamin, exercise, stop smoking, eat right, and wear your seat belt. Those will help you live longer and healthier.
As for Kevin Trudeau, he's a salesperson trying to sell you a book. Pure and simple.

Yes, I believe they do and he is telling the truth, and of course there are medical people as well as unbelievers who have never tried any of these methods who do not know. Naturally the medical profession and drug companies want to sell the drugs, and there can be many side effects from drugs,. I am 77 years young next month and was raised on the farm and my mother and grandmother used a lot of natural cures to help keep us healthy. I also am taking all natural supplements and have never felt better in my life.
Now as for Kevin making money and it is just a sales pitch, Well who dosen't? The drug companies surely do the doctors do the stores do and how about all the advertisements on the TV about everything. I do not think you are being fair about judging him until you have tried some of his suggestions. God created all herb bearing trees and fruits in the beginning, But man has got in the way and polluted things because of greed and there is not too much good in the food anymore.
As for having cures for cancers, heart problems, diabetes arthritus, and many other ailments I know a Herbolist Dr. who has helped many people. One lady in particular that I can think of right now had cancer and seizures and the Drs. gave her just a few months to live and after working with this Dr. and a Health Consultant and his products it has now been quite a few years and she is cancer and seizure free. If you would care to know more you can look on this website and there is a toll free number to call and talk to the Doctor. Now he will not say he can cure you but he has tremendous knowledge and will tell you if he can or can't help you.

Basically he might think he's telling you the truth, but he's really short on FACTS. He makes an awful lot of broad statements without listing one single reference that you can cross check on your own. I think he makes up half of his "facts".
If you are really interested in natural-alternative-herbal medicine do your own research. Herbals really do work, but you have to do a lot of studying first. Don't just buy the latest fad "miracle herb" written up in Reader's Digest. Herbal healing has been around for thousands of years. I think that qualifies as "evidence" of its efficacy. However, as I said, be prepared to do some serious research. If you do, I think you will be impressed by what you learn.
As for Kevin Trudeau - mostly hype to sell his books. All form but no substance.

Are you asking before you buy his book? If so, then check out the many customer reviews over at www.amazon.com. You will see that the book really isn't worth buying. Too bad. He does have a good sales pitch.
