After telophase of the first meiotic division, each cell will still have 6 chromosomes. However after telophase of the second meiotic division, each cell will have 3 chromosomes (one of each homolog.)

After Telophase each daughter cell will have half the number of chromosomes i.e 3 chromosomes

after telophase when the original cell cleaves into 2 daughter cells, each cell will have half the number of chromosomes the parent cell had ...this means each of the 2 cells will now have a haploid number of 3 chromosomes :)
