evanescence is not emo. and you sound like a poser, no offense but emo isn't cool. if you want to pose with innest trend. it's falling towards hardcore/metal not emo.
Also atreyu and trice isn't good, they are mainstreamed and crappy. sure they aren't that mainstream because most american girls and boys are too scared of heavy music, but it's not good heavy music. what is good music? i won't tell you, because you will start listening to it and start to make it mainstream. it's your job to find out urself. i'll just tell you what isn't "cool"
not hawthorne heights. they were decent their first album when emo was really big then. But their new album. If only you were lonely. It blows. Their hit single If only you were lonely is so mainstream that i heard it on the radio. Also their music started to stink, and even they say they didn't try that hard on their album. Right now they suck so much they have no label. They are also sellouts. Next...
Fall out boy has got to be the worst overrated bands of today. If you really want to listen to good music. NO FAll out boy. They are very terrible.

NO NO NO. I'm not sure what i'm missing. But definitely no with those. But you're like but they are all on mTV. How else do i know what is in?? Sadly the only ones that know good music, are those who you can't tell listen to rock. Rock music is not a fashion statement.

I tried listening to emo music but it's so depressing and they all have the same formula for lyrics. emo artists are talented no doubt, but it's too whiny for me. and why do the dudes in my chemical romance wear eye makeup? that's not very manly.
