I had recently loaned one of my costumes to a colleague of mine, but unfortunately for me, she sweats a lot and now my costume has as smell that i cannot get rid of even after laundering.
- I tried using those odor removal sprays, it helped only a little but the odor is still there.
Help please? Thanks y'all

If it is washable try adding 1/2 cup of either baking soda or borax to the wash load. This works very well on sweat smells. A presoak helps a lot. If it is not washable, try hanging it out in the sun to air.

I've seen several references to vinegar, one where a bath is filled with hot water, and a strong vinegar is poured into it. The smelly item is hung above the tub for several hours. I've heard of adding baking soda to the wash. I can't vouch for these. The only thing I know will work is an ozone generator. Ozone is a pollutant that causes lung damage, and the generator is fairly expensive. You best bet is to call around to dry cleaners. They often use them to deodorize smoke damaged clothing. See the link below for more on ozone generators.

If it's washable try using that detergent with FEBREEZE,I'm not sure but I think it's Tide.Don't let it finish washing! Just stop washer after a few minutes of aggitation & soak for awhile. You should also use a good liquid fabric softner if you have a Downy ball or dispenser on your washer.I really like GAIN. If it still stinks,do NOT put it in the dryer. If it doesn't stink put it in dryer with several dryer sheets. Good luck!!!

Try a 50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water....but test a piece first. Sometimes fading occurs. I have also been told that a 1/2 cup in the wash water will do the trick.

Washing or dry cleansing will get rid of maximum odors. as quickly as I stop smoking, my total closet smelled like cigarette smoke. i offered incense, lit it interior the closet, and closed the door. wager what? My clothing smelled super, no nicotine scent. while you're working in an Asian eating place, you could undergo in concepts that odors and scents additionally draw close to on your physique and hair; no longer in basic terms your clothing. If the scent is something exceedingly sturdy, like kim-chee, you could counter with sturdy shampoo and physique cleansing soap. individually, i could stumble on a various classification of friends; ones that care approximately you, no longer the way you scent.
