Honestly, red isn't a very "in" color right now. Pink and/or nude lips are the favored colors in spring/summer 2007. But if you do feel like you should stick with the reddish color, steer clear of brighter reds(like a fire engine red) and darker reds (like maroon). Middle-tone color reds will probably be the best option for you.

I'd think a darker one would look the best. For me I also have an olive skin tone, and I believe that the darker shad is warming and you don't want people staring at your lips like they look funny if your wearing a really bright red. It's to distracting.

You are the envy of most people because red should look good on you regardless! Typically, reds are divided into "blue" reds (fair skin with pink undertones) and "orange" reds (darker skin with yellow undertones) which is a guideline. Go to a good cosmetic counter and sample some reds for yourself (back of the hand, please), I'm sure you'll find at least one you like.

I would go to the MAC counter at any of your department stores or even if you have a Sephora .. these are places you can try them out.. and their are people who specialize in this that can help you out.
The Red color you choose can be different by not and day as well.. MAC isn't as expensive as most would think... I like the MAC line but you can go to any of the cosmetic sections in your department stores.. good luck.. Good Red's are hard but when you find one that works.. stick with it. good luck

you need to objective a classic cat eye, think of marilyn monroe or maybe audrey hepburn. A cat eye is ideal with purple lips because of the fact it brings interest on your eyes without doing away with from the purple lipstick or being too over achieved. it particularly is particularly all relating to the eyeliner. you need to apply a white shadow all over the lid and use a soft brown or gray interior the crease. in case you don't be attentive to a thank you to do a cat eye there are quite some tutorials on youtube.
