Which show do you wish would be more popular between American Idol or the Simpsons? I personally think that the Simpsons should be more popular (even though they're way past its prime) and it's a much better program than American Idol, I think that the Simpsons is a show you can relate to more and it's alot funnier and it's one of the funniest shows I've ever watched, plus you see something new everytime you watch the Simpsons.

One is reality while the other is animated comedy. By default animated comedy wins. However the simpsons allways ends with a positive message. American idol cannot claim that in the slightest.

Well american idol is more of a family orientated show, I don't think that I would want my children watching the simpsons until they were atleast in the 5th or 6th grade, so my vote is american idol

I've never watched American Idol and I don't think I ever will...Simpsons are great, especially when you can't fall asleep at night...love that show!!
