Only 20,000? I was hoping for a larger number. BTW how many of those virgins does Allah have in stock?

What do you think?
I think we need to send more troops - a LOT more troops to Afghanistan and the Western Province of Iraq. But of course that's where we should have been in force all this time instead of dangling democracy in front of people who clearly can't adapt to the concept or put it into practice.
Do you buy the argument that it's our fault that they want to go to Afghanistan to fight us?
I buy the fact that terrorist cells and training camps have increased greatly since we attacked Iraq. I buy the fact that Al Queda had no place in Iraq, except for dodging Hussein along the western border, until we came in and blew the country wide open - and didn't have any sort of workable plan for the aftermath to keep them out. So, yes, in fact it is our fault that we are bogged down in a civil war in Baghdad when we should be joining the British and NATO in force in Afghanistan.
Do you buy the argument that there is an inexhaustable supply of these losers and they'll never stop coming (unless, of course, we start being nice to 'em).
Yes, I believe that with the situation as it is in the Middle East right now, there is an inexhaustible supply of hatred towards us and our Allies, which breeds terrorists like cockroaches. Do I think that can change? Yes, I think the threat can be lessened by finding some measure of peace in the Middle East and turning our attention more fully to the increased terrorist training camps/cells in Afghanistan, Iraq, and everywhere they've popped up in Europe. Can we do that right now? No, we're short on troops. So for now we live with it, do what we can and hope for a miracle to come our way.
Do you buy the argument that Afghanistan and Iraq are much better places for killing them than is the US?
Of course, but that doesn't lend itself to backing up Bush's contention that we'll fight them here if we don't fight them in Iraq. If those bastards want in, they're going to come in. We can't keep illegals out and we think terrorists are so stupid they can't figure that out? A no-fly list is a minor setback when our borders are porous and our ports are extremely undermonitored. Bush's litany about fighting the terrorists there so they don't come here is an illusionary correlation. As you pointed out, there seems to be an inexhaustable supply of them. If they have plans for us on our soil, they can spare the guys to set it up. Let's hope and pray that is not their intention.

I buy the argument that it is our fault (for Iraq) that all Muslim nations and citizens (even the educated ones) are going to declare a jihad against us.
There is truly too many to kill individually but being nice to them isn't going to work. As soon as you do so many nice things for them one particular group is going to want more and the only way they know how to ask is by bombing something or kidnapping someone.
We will never have to worry about killing them here. Close our borders completely (excpet students and those that obtain visas legally). Afghanistan is a GREAT place to kill them. They let the Al Qaeda take over their gov't and there is no way we can stop sending troops there until we can declare Bin Laden dead. Iraq did nothing to us, therefore us fighting there will cause more problems for us than it will solve. We never should have gone over there in the first place. They were never a true threat. And most of them are seeing us as the enemy for occupying them just like they occupied Kuwait 15 years ago.

So you think lots more killing is a good thing, do you?
Will you feel that way when they kill US (and other countries') soldiers?
If we weren't in Afghanistan, they wouldn't be trying to take the country back from us.
Every time we torture someone, every cluster bomb we drop on residential areas, every rape we've committed, every 98-year old woman, or 6 month old boy we murder means we're facing more people who hate us beyond reason.
It isn't about our "being nice" to them; it's about our stopping our terrorist policies of mass murder, torture, and support of governments who also commit mass murder and torture.
If we had acted like human beings, we wouldn't be in this situation.
I find the "fight them there" argument disgusting -- tell it to the victims of the London bombing, or any of the other terrorist attacks we've inspired these last six years.
There's no reason to think 20,000 jihadis would be coming to the US to fight us here, so it's also a bogus argument. How the h*ll would they GET here?
Most of the hundreds of thousands of people we've murdered weren't going to fight us at all -- until we started slaughtering, raping, and torturing their friends and families (most of whom had not done us any harm).
You seem to love killing, just because you love killing.
Signing up any time soon?
Or are you too blood-thirsty even for the depleted Army to accept?
I understand they'll accept just about anyone now.
Now's your chance.

I'm not even sure what it is you're asking...
Firstly, do I believe the Taliban? No. I've never been given a reason to believe an ignorant group of people who blow up ancient statues.
Do think it's our fault the Taliban wants to fight us in Afghanistan? No, not really.
Questions unclear from that point on...

It could be, but I figure this isn't any more then a hype, as far as the exhaustible part yes they have billions in their population that haven't anything to loose. They don't have or share our Western theologies or capitalist perks you know.

We quarantine those with deadly diseases to protect society. Radical Islam has much in common with Ebola. We can't do much to stop someone who wants to die. We just need to isolate them away while they do it.
Now if they play nice and form a big, long human wave or a massed cluster, I'm sure our forces will be more than willing to punch their ticket to paradise. The more the merrier.
