We were homeless once for about 6 months. We lived in a van with our 3 kids all under the age of 3. A church helped us get to a city where there were jobs and housing available.

I'd move into a national park forest and live off berries and deer and tubers for the rest of my natural life, living like a nomad, depending on the season and hunting/gathering. Temporary shelters appropriate for the seasonal elements would be best and less ostentatious.
A life like that, filled with clean air, water and plenty of exercise and wholesome foods would likely yield a long life. No worries. This is my master plan if I ever end up homeless anyway.

I would build a structure hidden in plants big enough to cover it so I could be safe at night. It would be out of many layers of cardboard. People throw trash all over the place, and I would gather the things that were still useful, and make them into my "home." My place would be near a source of water, and far enough to be out of the way of traffic or construction. Yes, it would be like many kids' version of a fort or tree house.

Yeah, I tried to build a house out of boxes, but all these people with homes that wanna move kept stealing my boxes.

No..if I were homeless..I would get myself arrested on a misdemeanor so I could ask a judge to direct me to the resources I need to get off the street.

nope I'd find someone to take me in.:) I am not a free loader so someone would give me a home and I'd help out. if I was going to live on the streets though I would just live in a box

I would not allow myself to become homeless. I will work my butt off to stay off of the streets, finding any kind of job to keep from that state.
