so.. every now and then i like to go to a club and dance. i'm normally semi successful in getting random girls to dance with me, but sometimes it feels a little awkward. what is a good way to get a girl to dance with me without it being awkward?

dress well. Take dance lessons. Don't do any crazy dances. You've got to think about the way that you look when you do this. Is your body language saying,"go away?" Keep it neutral. You can try to move a littler closer to some women. If they try to avoid you then do the solo dance until you get noticed.

When dance was a general social skill, the rules were pretty straightforward, and they still apply. Just asking using the KISS principle, as "Would you like to dance?" is best. In theory, it's impolite for the lady to decline without good reason, but there are things like jealous boyfriends and general ignorance of the etiquette, so if you get turned down, think of it as a problem that she has, and don't take it personally.

It's simply ... just ask. If you see a girl you would like to dance with, walk up to her, smile and ask, "Would you like to dance?" If she says yes then great! If she says no then you respond, "I said you look fat in those pants."
Just kidding but it doesn't hurt to have a sense of humor and be able to laugh at yourself. Have fun on the floor!

i think you have to feel confident in order not to feel awkward i would suggest some dance lessons most girls love guys who dance! me I'm one, i love a guy who can dance well!

just tell her "you MUST dance with only me!!and then give her the rose in your teeth without using your hands..click your heals and bow turn your back to her,walk three steps toward the dance floor turn to her ,lock your eyes and soul to hers and reach forth your hand in invitation!!if you must; motion toward yourself with your hand for her to join you!!once and not again!!if she does not respond sweep your cape in a swirl like a torrero up and over your shoulder and disappear into the crowd ;once she breaks her lock with your eyes slip quickly away!!she will think you a magician..a wizard,a phantom! let of a firecracker and fall to the floor just out of her line of sight as the crowd parts she will see you hunched against a column holding a hand full of ketchup over your heart and your pleated pierre cardin bib-front dress shirt!!tell her "i don't have long now!dance with me...i want to die with you in my embrace;while my great arms still have the strength to sculpt you and my great legs the power to sweep you into the waiting starlight!!"

dress well,smell nice,conformtable enough,don not ever do crazy thinks infront of them,take a dance class,think a good time,maybe waltzz would be romantic.....dance as gracefully as you can....

Brandon, the best way is to just ask...but remember you are JUST asking. Some will say yes and some will say no. Don`t take it personal and keep on asking!!
