YES I know it has tgo do with medical stuff and I know going to nursing school means I will be a nurse. REAL ANSWERS PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I'm in it right now. It's very competitive. You have to really be willing to study and get good grades. The pre-nursing determines when/if you get into clinicals. The teachers are few so most of the clinical programs are harder to get into without the grades. You just have to be willing to work at it! It will be worth it in the long run! I can't wait till I can start working!

ON THE PLUS SIDE:
My friend went and he (yes HE) has a good career ahead of him.
There is a MASSIVE need for nurses so you are almost guaranteed a job.
Some hospitals will even help pay for you schooling if sign a contract
ON THE MINUS SIDE:
Lots of studying
Lots of memorization
Some "gross" tasks. Especially at the beginning.
Are you OK with putting a tube in 87 year old womans urethra?

Nursing school is great, but actually being a nurse is tough. And be prepared to work nights and weekends.

lost of studying
lots of tests
you need to have common sense
you need to have a warped gross sense of humor
the paperwork is tedious
they pay is great
the benefits ( pension, 401K, health insurance ) is crappy
the stress and worry can take its toll on you
