Should a man be made to child support when he has been told by a woman that she can not have children or is on the pill or sterile ect, and all of a sudden she is pregnant. My view yes he should as he is out there having unprotected sex (as the woman is also) and it all could have been avoided by protecting himself from an unwanted pregnancy and any STD going around.

Id say that Stan is going to have quite a few kids floating around without dads by the sound of things (his answer above). If a man is told by a woman that she doesn't have an STD then he catches something from her he is going to slap himself for not being cautious enough same goes with an unwanted pregnancy just as the say takes two to tango

Yes, he should pay. He is the father of the child. I have heard of people who's doctor told them that they were not able to have children and later got pregnant. Even a doctor's word is not 100% guaranteed, so if he wanted to be sure, they should have used some form of birth control.
Ultimately, it is the man's child. As a father, he is responsible for that child, so he should have to pay child support.

Yes, he should. Even with protection, pregnancy can happen. If the father doesn't want to support his child, then he should terminate his rights. A man can't be a father when it's convenient for him. It's either all or nothing, if not give up your rights.

Hate to be crude, but if you play, you have to pay. Doesn't matter what she told you, if the paternity test comes back and says you are the father, you are half responsible for creating the child so, you should want to help support the child. The law looks at it that way.
