That lets you play 3-D games, and connect to the internet like a PSP, but better?

Why? Both the PSP and DS are good enough to cover that market. If Microsoft were to get in on the market it would just flounder. The DS offers innovative game-play while the PSP offers overpriced extras. What more could you ask for in handhelds besides another copy cat.

yes both Sony and Nintendo have one why not. It would be cool to use it with your 360 too like being able to play your arcade games and download movies and stuff. I have a DS but won,t get a PSP because i don,t care for Sony but I'd buy one from Microsoft no doubt

Ya, that would be a good idea. The handheld market is surprisingly lucrative and with microsoft trying to expand and dominate, the next logical place to muscle sony out of the market would be handhelds. Microsoft could do a much better job with it too, given their ability to incorporate their other technologies. LEGIT IDEA, I'm gonna star this question

They announced one last year but I think the project may have died out. I remember the picture of it was this beastly looking thing and they copied and pasted a picture of Halo gameplay onto the screen.

It would be interesting to play Halo without having to be at home but eh, dunno. I think eventually Microsoft will tap the handheld market but their main concentration is the Xbox 360.

No, two handheld consoles is just fine.

Three would over-saturate the market.
