My best friend is having her 15th b-day party on the same night that I have an audition. I had to skip her party last year too, and I think shes gonna be really mad!! What should I do?

Could you possibly see her that day & spend any time with her at all? Just tell her that it really hurts you that these 2 events are on the same night, but that the audition is very important to you & you hope she understands. Maybe you could plan something special with her, just the 2 of you.

Just tell her that you're so sorry, and that you will have to miss it and that this audition is so freaking important to you that if you miss it it just wouldn't be right. But it's also not right to miss her party! I think you should go to the party. There are other auditions. Hun at church today, I just learned about greed, (That's what the Pastor was talking about.). He said that Greed is the worst thing you can have. That if you have greed no one will like you and you'll keep doing it. See if you miss her party, then you will always miss her party Hun. You should go to the party. Like I said before there will be other auditions Hun. If you don't want to believe me then do what your gut says! If you need any more help feel free to e-mail me!

tell her that unfortunately the audition and your birthday happen to be on the same day and that you will do your best to make it to your party. if for some reason you can't make it to her party then set aside another time and place and you can throw her a surprise one. i'm sure she will appreciate your efforts.

hard to say, if she was truly your friend then she would be understanding. To the sense that you are a busy person and things happen like this. i mean there is no reason you cant do something together the next day just the two. so do something nice. i say work.

you can call in sick at your work so you can go to her party.Or if your friend is true enough she will let you go to work with out her getting mad at you.
