It's an RFID tag they implanted in you while you slept that allows them to check your identity through your computer. It's easier to do it that way than to keep planting cookies when they want to keep tabs on you. Yahoo agreed to test the technology for the department of homeland security. The benefit to you is that you no longer need to worry about cookies slowing you down, they'll just read your chip and know exactly where you are and where you've been.

Strange i'm just noticing this now. It must be something good because not everyone has them.
I think people at high levels have them. Level 4 and higher.
