No a vet can not save your fish. When a fish's organs shut down they shut down VERY quickly ... within a matter of seconds. There is nothing that can be done once all organs have shut down. And there is no way to revive a fish.
If you would like to make sure he/she is dead before you flush or bury him/her simply take a glass of water and wait for a layer of ice to form then place the fish on top of the ice and within 5 seconds the fish will be completely dead.
Thankyou..

Your fish probable have concepts injury from loss of oxygen. I as quickly as had an oscar that have been out of the water for some quarter-hour and my fool cousin in simple terms left him interior the sunlight and looked on as our canines licked and sniffed it.. as quickly as I have been given there i observed the fish take a breath or maybe it replaced into in basic terms a reflex yet i observed it pass so I placed it lower back interior the pond and it started swiming. It replaced into never a similar after that nevertheless, it may each so often waft on its area or develop into torpid for long sessions till now returning to regular, whether it nonetheless ate and survived..

It doesn't matter. If the fish is dead . why are you so excited about your fish's death, Go flush it. Or if your still not sure what to do, take the fish out and play catch and catch with it. That way, it will be understood that the fish is no longer alive

It's dead. You should put it in the food dehydrater to dry out the skin and then make a change purse out of it. I have a collection of these purses from all my dead pets. That way I can always remember them and have them close to me. Plus they make great gifts.

My fiance's mother breathed into our old fish's mouth with a straw.
I thought it was stupid because they breathe through gills, but she apparently saved his life 2 times.
According to my fiance.
