The tip of the cord that connects the amp to the guitar came off inside the guitar. How can we get it out???

You can't push it all the way though because there is appears to be some sort of plastic connection on the inside.

Take it to a music shop. Hopefully they'll have suggestions.

There's no easy way - the safest is probably to remove all the strings, but this is time consuming.

The most common way to get anything out of a guitar (usually a pic) is to gently shake/twirl/tilt the guitar until the object is in between the two braces directly under the sound hole - then loosen the top three strings (not completely, just enough to comfortably get a few fingers down there) and reach for it.

Helps to have long fingers, but be patient! The other way of course is to shake the guitar violently around upside-down until the object falls out of the soundhole, usually isn't very effective but try it as a fail-safe.

Take the back off (or pick guard-guitar depending) and push it through. A pencil works well.

Good luck :)
