I have dark brown eyes; my natural hair color is dark brown/almost black (now with lots of gray!), and my skin tone is more tan than fair. I've always wanted to have blonde hair; should I try it?

If you do decide to be a blonde, PLEASE do not do it at home. Go to a reputable salon that has a very experienced colorist. You would not be happy with DIY results, but I think you could find a blonde you could really love with the help of a pro.

No. Try highlights. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but it sounds like a big no. People who have dark features but go blond always look really trashy to me. Highlights will give you a feel for being lighter without going all out.

If you want to know what it will look like, go to a costume store and try on a wig. That's how I found out I could never be blond.

You could try it if you want to know that bad what you will look like, but personally, I prefer brunettes and dark hair over blondes 7 days a week.

I say go for it. Just make sure it is a good shade of blond that matches your skin tone well.

Why not try a blond wig? Then you will know if it suits you.

Try it but.....You won't be able to get your original color back until it grows out.
