The doctor has not officially confirmed how far along I am...Due to an irregular period the last time around I'm either ten or fourteen weeks along. Recently I've been feeling odd sensations in my lower belly (where my uterus is)...it feels like a fish swimming around in tiny little circles. Is this the baby moving? Or just wishful thinking....

well done,, if your only ten weeks, you shouldnt feel anything really but if your 14 or more, you will feel ,its like bubbles or air pockets popping or fish swimming but also this feeling your having now could be the baby or your insides are moving to make room for your little one, about 5 /6 months you should feel movement. then when you hit about 8 months you wish the bub would stop moving.well done and good luck enjoy every moment.

The odd sensations that feel like a fish swimming is what my ob/gyn called flutters. The baby is just big enough for you to start feeling the kicking or moving around. I started feeling those feelings when I was around 14-16 weeks along. You should probably tell your doctor what you are feeling so that your doctor can telling you for sure.

Either way you are still pretty early to feel the baby move. Most women don't feel movement until 16 weeks or further along. I am 19 weeks and still haven't felt anything. However, I know what you are feeling I went through the same thing, just wondering. Its possible that its just gas.....

It could be the baby...When I was 11 weeks preg.. I felt the baby fluttering....Maybe you are a little further along than you thought or you are just feeling it early...Good Luck!

i started feeling kicking at 25 weeks... I dont think you can feel it too soon.. its not possible. The baby IS moving but its not moving hard enough for you to feel it ,it moves starting @ 18 weeks and so on... I think its wishful thinkin.. lolz

You probably are feeling the baby. I felt fluttering when I was ten weeks pregnant with my son.

it may be a bit early but it definitely can be your baby (espcially if your closer to 14 weeks)...it kind of feels like a little roll across your stomach, a fluttering, a bubble...hard to describe but it's the best feeling in the world! good luck!

It just wishful thinking. Unfortunately you can't feel the baby quite yet even if you are 14 weeks.

Happy wishes - if you want to be pregnant enjoy it then you can tell your baby you "knew" you were expecting them and how happy it made you.
