Why does our own Government continue to allow the IRS to steal money from us now that the word is out about forceing us to pay Taxes? We all know that it is all lies. Number one. It has already been said that there is "NO law" in the US Constitution that says that we Americans must pay out of our hard earned pay that we must pay Taxes. Why won't the Govenment just face up and stop lying to us and tell us the real truth?

Of course taxes are a necessity. The problem I have, and I think I share it with many others, is the way it is handled. Do any of you have any friends or family that has had any confrontation with the IRS? They operate like thugs. Honestly. I have a, let's say 'friend', who tried to sue the IRS based on its (the IRS's) illegality, and they were constantly being watched, and receiving threatening, harassing letter from the IRS. Long, but interesting story. Pretty crazy.

Anyway, not to ramble on. I just wish the Americans understood that the Federal Reserve is a private institution that was granted by Congress the right to do business. The IRS is an arm of that private organization, and operates as the collections agency for the Fed. Doesn't anyone feel bothered by the fact that their checks are made out to the IRS, and not to our country. I guess you'd have to understand what's going on to feel bothered.

I'm all for a tax revolt -- just say when and where.

What do you think would happen if one year everyone claimed as many deductions as possible and then didn't file income taxes? That'd make Washington stand up and pay attention! Of course the government needs money to fund crucial services, but as taxpayers we have NO SAY as to where our money goes.

Preach on, friend. At least one person is listening.

Becuase we need to pay the interest on the national debt. That's what the federal income tax goes towards. That's it. Look at the budget reports, which are public records. The federal income tax goes paying just the interest on our growing national debt. Yet we continue to outsource and consume more than we produce.

There are other taxes for "comforts and necessities" State, Road, Social security, medicare, property, school, etc. Once again it's incorrect to think that federal inco,e tax goes towards anything but interest on our national debt.

Look I'm not saying don't pay your taxes. Those payments are the only thing keeping us above water. But that national debts just going to keep growing until we bring industry back to the US, stop outsourcing, and start producing our own goods and services. Then we can actually make a dent on the principle we owe oursleves. Trade will grow, and more income will come into the states.

Regardless, of it not being in print. Taxes is much needed to give us the comfort and necessities needed to conduct our lives the way we are accustomed to. Our country would be in great disarray if we all decided to stop paying taxes, all of our public service would be jeopardized. We need to have an "oversight and say" on how these monies are spent, this would be worth more to chase and correct in my eye's.

U.S. Constitution, Sixteenth Amendment:

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Good to know some folks out there have their facts straight. There are a lot of things I'd wish the government would stop lying to me about, but taxes isn't one of them.

The real truth is that the worlds resources are rationed out by the elite and the IRS is needed to control the rations. The conformists do their duty and work like a slave.. for crumbs... and the ones too damaged to conform are given a bit to keep them from revolting...

In essence there is enough resources on this planet to feed and house all people but the elite prefer us to think otherwise,,,

It isn't in the Constitution. That's not where it belongs anyway. The Constitution defines our country....

Here is some info on the income tax Acts and it's history.

valet....those taxes you mentioned are state taxes....the question is about FEDERAL income tax....which yes, its unconstitutional. Arron Russo made a good documentary about this....he talks to former heads of the IRS and former IRS agents...

It is appropriately called ......FREEDOM TO FASCISM
