my real name (Mirna, nicknamed MIma) means (literarily) "tranquille"- everything that I am not. everybody teases me (in a friendly way) about it. but i really love it, since it is directly the opposite of who I am, it's sort of cool... there is another meaning of this name, Celtic, meaning "tender and loving". well that I am, but my name is Slavic not Celtic... i guess it's a coincidence, 2 same names, 2 different meanings

I'm with the previous Elizabeth...depending on where you look Elizabeth can mean slightly varied things...but they always have to do with God. And I'm not religious and my husbands an atheist....so not really. However my middle name I think suits me. It's Ashmore and although it's an English surname and a town in Dorset it was also my great grandmothers first name. She was apparently a bit of an original for her era and was very independent and opinionated. I think I'm a lot like that as well.

LeaAnn Michelle
Lea: Hawaiian: Mythological goddess of canoe builders
Ann: English: Graceful
Michelle: French: Variation of Michaela - Hebrew, Latin, English: Who is like the Lord

1.) I do not make canoes
2.) I am not all that graceful
3.) I go to church
So, no I do not think that it reflects who I am. :)

In all but one language/culture it means precious stone. I really dont think im a precious stone so no that is not me however i recently found out that in Egyptian it means light, i think that is a better reflection of who i am. Alot of my friends say i do bring something new to our 'group dynamics' so in that way it is like light.
