I'd go with sex, conflict, sex, resolution, sex. It sells.

Well, it's not the subject, but how you say it. I am a guy, but I write about women's issues, and what I'm trying to achieve is to make the writing more natural, not to make the story seem like a man's fantasy. So, yeah, anything could make a good story. It's just how you write it.
