If it's a desktop this problem is easier to deal with than if it's a laptop.
If a desktop, make sure your keyboard is plugged in snugly, and plugged into the correct outlet. You may have to clean the keyboard or replace it. (If you replace it, please bring the old keyboard to a computer place that recycles e-waste.) At any rate, it's easier to clean or replace a desktop keyboard than one for a laptop.
If a laptop, your problem is more complicated. Laptop keyboards are rather delicate, and depending on the make and model some are more easily replaced than others. Also cost may vary a lot, depending on make. Check the manufacturer's website for more info.

If it's a desktop computer, and you're sure it's connected correctly, just go get another one to try.

If it's a laptop, you may be able to replace it yourself. First contact wither the maker or a parts store to find out how much they are and if you can get one. Then look on the maker's site for instructions to replace the keyboard. If they don't have it, take it to a local shop and ask then for assistance. Some may not charge to do it if it's simple enough. I know on several of my laptops (thinkpads) the keyboard has about four screws from the bottom and it then just pops out.

either get a new one, or see if it's the input on the proccessor.to do that u might have to get a adapter so ur keyboard plug will turn into a USB plug, then plug it in the USB input and see if it works. F1 on desktop to go to Help and Support. Reboot go to one of those F buttons and try to find a diagnosics for keyboards.

If it is a desktop, you should probably check if the keyboard is still functioning. If it functions, you should plug it correctly and might have to restart the computer. If it still doesn't work, you might need specific software for the keyboard.

If it's a laptop, the keyboard might be broken. Check with your manufacturer for warranty/repairs.

Try a known working keyboard. If it works, the problem is the keyboard. Replace it.
