What is the shiny stuff that swirls placed inside toys that you squish?

to clarify, i mean the reflective flecks that settle out of the water inside those little rubber toys that are almost impossible to hold, they look like thick rubber tubes.

probably silicone gel they use in fake breast implants but then again it has to be safe for children one would think huh???it isnt natural for sure.. or organic.. pop one open and taste it .. perhaps distilled water.. would be nice.. and safe.
