Uk Citizen,Juts returned home,having trouble opening a bank account with out a job,any ideas? Any Banks that allow you to hold ana ccount without working?

Open a deposit only account first, this will allow you over the counter banking and debit card for cashpoint withdrawals. Because there is no overdraft facility, few personal and job checks are made. Then after a while you can apply for a regular cheque and credit account.
