Hi I have had that happen before and still have gotten my period a few days later. I wouldn't stress about it too much though. If you are worried you can always buy a pregnancy test just to ease your mind. I know they say that sometimes you might bleed a little when the embryo implants itself into the uterus. But either way the only way to tell is to wait it out a few days or go ahead and take the test. Good luck whatever your results are. Hope this helps.

Yes, periods continue to change, 20 then 25 then 30. I think it always reassures me to get a test. I am married and ever sens I have been married, I just get like the 3 pack of tests and keep the others for a later date. If you are not pregnant, you may just be having a cycle change, track it. I notice my cycle skips two day every 3rd month. Also talk to your OBGYN, mine has given me great info about the life changes we go through. I thought my cramps would go away as I got older, but my doctor says I may have bad cramps until I have a child, this happens to some women. A good source for medical questions is www.webmd.com, if you need any more info.

I'm in the same exact situation, and just a few hours ago MirandaJ posted this on my question, she used to be an ob/gyn, and I found it very helpful:
"It could be that it was just sex that did it. It could be that you are starting your period now and are just really light. It wouldn't be implantation bleeding, so don't worry about that. Sometimes, girls who have sex for the first time can bleed for a few days after. If you are getting close to time to start, it could just be that sex disrupted your cervix enough that you are bleeding a little. Just watch it and if you are hurting, or feel like it isn't getting better, talk to your doctor. More then likely, it isn't anything to worry about. "

The way I see it, is that because it happened right after sex, it's most likely caused by the sex. I hope everything straightens itself out!

Wow- you really need to relax. This is all alot of anxiousness for a period that should have occured over the past 12 hours.
If your looking to become pregnant- RELAX. Don't over analyze everything.
Just keep having a relationship with your husband. The baby will happen.

It could be implantation bleeding although, I think that should have happened earlier, but it wouldn't hurt to test. You could be pregnant or it could just be a fluke period. I would take a test If I were u. Good Luck, Hope u get the answer u want.

how old are you? This is why sex ed is important. if you want to know, buy a test. Most of them will give you a conclusive result as soon as you expect your period, so it is NOT too soon. Don't spend time worrying and wondering, just pee on a stick!!!!!:)

That is called spotting. Really not a serious condition but better have an appointment with your gynecologist for assurance.
