I was under the impression that Zach Braff wasn't going to stick around for a seventh season of Scrubs; but now I hear that NBC is shelling out big bucks to Zach (which he and this show deserve) for him to come back for a seventh season! Does anyone have information on this? Is it true?!

Braff signed a contract with Touchstone, Scrubs' production company, for a seventh season. If NBC picks up the show (Bill Lawrence is pretty confident that it will be picked up), Zach will be making $350,000 per episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter, putting him in the upper tier of current sitcom stars.

go on eonline.com to read the full article but, yes its true that they did offer Braff a raise to stay on the show for another season but according to the article scrubs might not return because of the declining ratings

Yeah, they are trying to pay him big bucks even though NBC is in a money-flow problem.
