but today it increased..its clear. has anyone gone through this when 5 days or so you lose some pieces of your mucous plug then one day it was a whole lot...? what happens next if it was alot today?

I was completely dilated when they poped my water,I went straight into labor 1 hr to 1 1/2 hrs later a baby little boy. That was fast but more painful

It really depends on your body..everyone is differant. I lost my plug gradually and then I lost all of it on one day and I went into labor the next day. A girlfriend of mine never lost hers at all. And another friend of mine lost hers and was dilated to 2cm for a few weeks and then ended up being induced. It really all depends on your body. But it is a good tell tale sign that you are almost there. Good luck. I hope you have a easy delivery and a healthy baby. Congrats and Blessings.

It didn't happen to me but it is normal. Next ur water could break n then contractions! Usually the mucus plug is lost at the onset of labor or just a few days b4. Keep ur Dr. informed.

Here is a tip. Ask your husband to have sex with you. Good old fashioned drive em hard sex. Let him stimulate your breast. I am willing to bet within 24 hours your water will break, you will be at the hospital giving birth to a sweet child. Enjoy, it's gonna be 6 weeks at least till the next rendezvous

My friend went 3 weeks dilated at 3cm before she went into labor.

i started to lose mine when i was 28 weeks preg. didn't go into labor until the doc. induced me at 41 weeks

if its a whole lot to day you will most likly have your baby tonight or in the morning,dont stress put your feet up and make sure you have packed everything. good luck

if you are 38 wks and lost your plug, and also dialated to 3 cm I would say you should pack your hospital bag because you are going to need it soon (3-5days) just my guess
