You've probably heard hit before, but stop trying and it will happen. My wife and I found out she was pregnant after we had stopped concentrating on it so much. The best way to get pregnant is will your ovulating which usually happens 2 weeks after you had your last menstrual period. Make sure you measure from the start of your period and not the end. Some people say you notice when your ovulating because of a increase in body temperature, but my wife never noticed a change. Good luck and congratulations when it happens. Our baby is now 5 weeks and is the best thing to ever happen to us.

Did you take a confirm clearly test? I was late, and took quite a few of them and they were positive...I went to the doctors and not only found out I wasn't pregnant but that I would probably never be able to have kids!! Suprise! I e-mailed the company and they sent me my money back, and said they have had several people complaining about false positives.
Good Luck!!

Did your dr do a blood test or just a urine test? I found this interesting that the urine tests at a dr office are not a sensitive as an early pregnancy test. The store ones are usually 25u/ml and the ones at the dr office are 50 - 100 u/ml. Maybe you were to early to show on the dr's test. If you have not had a blood test I would ask for one. Good Luck!!

That has happened to me before. My Dr couldn't explain it. You can't get a false positive although you can get a false negative. I later saw on the discovery health channel a story about a woman who was creating "embryos" (I hate that word) but she couldn't carry them, they would "come out" on a menstrual cycle. I get pregnancy symptoms every 3 months but don't test because of the heart break. Maybe wait until a few weeks past your late date and test again. Blood tests are supposed to be the most accurate. Best of luck to you!

Did your doctor at least do bloods to double check?
As others have said it is quite odd to get a false positive on HPT's.
If you are looking for ideas on trying to conceive I would go to babycenter.com and look there. They will explain how to detect signs you are fertile and there is even a calculator which will tell you your fertile period too.
I know this is a lazy answer directing you to another website, but I have been using it on and off for months and find it handy.
Good luck.

Have you taken another test? Maybe the doctor's test was a false negative. You don't get false positives on pg tests.

I have never heard of this Did the doctor give you an explanation as to why and how this happened? Wait for your period and have sex on days 11-17 anytime in there you should be ovulating. You could also get an ovulation predictor kit.

Do not try. When you do not try it will happed. Make intercourse fun not a job. Spice things up candles, cut the lights on, or even do it in the mornings before getting ready for work.
