Ive been going back and forth on the idea. Should I get an XBox360????

what if any systems do you have now?
Who will be playing?(m/f, ages, family system?)
If its just you what kinds of games do you like?

Don't go by the system for just the name if it, but look at how many games in it you like. If you don't see allot (ex PS3,Wii) its a new system more games are coming out.
Look at the up grades do you have the requirements at your home to do them(high speed cable, etc)

Put it this way if you go to TRU,Best buy etc, you see the demo the screen they have it on 9-10 times is a high def TV, you put even the ps1 on that and it will look good.

By all means. The Xbox 360 is a great choice of console. If you're looking for more selection than just the 3rd parties have given, I'd suggest getting a Wii as well as the Xbox to bolster your selection, if your bank account can afford it, especially since the 2 of them together still cost less than a PS3.

depends on your personal situation. The 360 is the best buy in my opinion hands down. I had the money to buy one or all of the new consoles and ended up with the 360 because it is just hands-down the way to go. I used to be more neutral, but the ps3 just dosnt have that many great games coming out, and tons of their designers are defecting to nintendo and microsoft because the ps3 is so hard to make games for. 8 out the 10 most discussed/searched for/hyped are 360 games, the others are god of war 2 (for PS2 and not PS3) and Super smash bros for the wii. The only real question in my mind for you to ask is "is the price worth it." 400 bucks is no small buy especially since you have to go pimp it out with games and controllers etc. I'd say yes, but thats because I got mad chips.

The PS3 will cost more. I'd look to what exclusive games you may be able to get on each system to decide though.

But really the questions are, "how much free time do you have?" and "how do you feel about having no life (especially if you buy Gears of War)?"
