My friend and I are best friends, we are both married. Us and our husbands were supposed to go to this place called "Scarydairy". At the time we were supposed to go I called her and Called her and she never answered or returned my call, The next day she called me and said sorry she was out late. So we made plans for that night to have dinner. Again I called and called and nothing. I mean you have a phone if you can't make it you can atleast call, that is better than not showing up at all. So I decided that I wasn't going to call anymore and she can call me when she is ready. Well it has been a week and a half and I still haven't heard anything. She usually calls me almost every day, I don't know if I should stand strong and not call her or if I am just being dumb, and what if something happened to her? I don't know what to do. Please help.

If you are truly best friends, you should give her a chance to explain or get through whatever she may be going through. Go over for a visit, sit down, have some coffee and talk. If she is not available, let her know that you are there for her if she needs you. I wouldn't be angry about it, but you should try to find out why she's doing this, especially if it's not her norm.

If you value your friendship with her, call her. If she still doesn't answer or return your calls, go to her house. You are at least entitled to an explanation of why she no longer wants to be your friend, if that's the case. If it's not then all is well and at least you will be able to find out what's wrong.

A true friend is a friend for life. In the good times and bad. Sometimes we go thought things we don't want to open up the anyone. Sometimes as a friend you have to just go see what's up. If she doesn't want you to know she will tell you. There comes a time to let go,but let her tell you that. Until then check up on her.Be the true friend you are.

There could be something going on in her life at the moment which is very time consuming. Give her a call and find out how things are going.

awww that's terrible, I hate being in situatons like that with friends. Maybe call or text and if she doesnt answer/reply leave a message saying I dont know whether to put hurt or worried but something is definatley wrong and ask if she is okay or whats going on.

It could just be that she's having a rough time now whether it be at work or home and she's just not ready to talk to anyone, don't give up on her, even if it's just to leave her a message and tell her that you're still there for her.
