Its because Zelda is like our generation of superman. Like in the past superman was everyones hero. Now we have Zelda ( which is actually only nintendo fans and some others hero). Also the graphics are more next gen then any other game. All the magazines give it a 10 out of 10 for every part of it. The story line is rich. Gamplay and controls are good.
And the person aboce me is a nintendo hater and all your friends probably have xbox or are final fantasy fans!!!

Zelda is the best game for Wii so far for a number of reasons. First off if there is a game with a better storyline for Wii I have yet to encounter it
Secondly the gameplay is intuitive and enjoyable. You can get as into the motions as you want or you can sit on the couch and play it just like every other Zelda game.
Third, well if you havent figured this out yet, the Zelda games are just great games. They typically have good replay value and have, at least for Nintendo, been one of the biggest reasons for brand loyalty.
Lastly the graphics are the best they have ever been in a Zelda game. No they are not super realistic but then if a Zelda game's graphics were to realistic it would almost change a lot about the type of game that it is.
Only improvements I would make. Characters talk instead of scrolling text. But that is just me and I am still more than satisfied with my Twilight Princess.

Mostly, I think because the Legend of Zelda has been here for a while now, all from pretty bad - okay graphics, but that changes with Twilight. i also think its the best game for wii because no other great, noticeable, games have come out for wii. Due to Twilights Pre-Release popularity, people have bought it and tried it, and its a good game. Its really the advertising and knowledge of the game ( I mean, look at Okami [for PS2] it is a GREAT game, BUT, no one knew about it, so no one paid attention to it.) The Legend of Zelda is a tried and true series, and so every Zelda fan is anxious for Twilight Princess

Zelda is probably the best adventure game in nintendo and now in twilight princess you get to use the wiis sword functions, it even got better

Actually alot of kids tell me to NEVER get the Zelda game for nintendo wii because they said it sucked. But then again some other kids say its actually a pretty good game. So I am not really sure.

Twilight Princess, and every other game in that series is basically pure gold. It is one of the greatest video game franchises that still holds up so great. Twilight Princess just continues just how great that series can go. It in fact is one of my favorite games. It may be simple, but it keeps you entertained none the less. It by no means lacks anything, other than it being sort of simple for some, but it doesn't take away any of the greatness. It still took me fifty hours to complete (without guides or cheats).
