Nimitz number 1 on the Discovery Channel?

Question

Today, the discovery channel hosted a show called the Worlds top ten weapons that changed the world. They put the Nimitz for number 1...i would have to dissagree. what do you guys think?

I served on the Nimitz, and it alone with it's crew and fire power can destroy any Country. I would call that #1...I noticed the no-nothings that never served making false comments. Yes the Nimitz does carry a nuclear payload, and can get it delivered in a matter of minutes through several different means.

The Nimitz Aircraft Carrier? if so i would have to agree by saying no, because the US hasent been in big enough wars like WWII since the Nimitz-Class was first commision into the U.S. Navy. The Deiscovery Channel should have put the A-Bomb or some other kind of nuclear weapon at number one because Little Man and Fat Boy (the nukes used on Japan) ended the Pacific theater of World War II. And Also the cold war was basically argueed over the Russian nukes in Cuba until President Kennedy argreed with the Russain Prime Misister or who ever that Russia would pull out its forces in Cuba if the U.S. did not reveal Russia to the United Nations.

I think the the#1 weapon that changed the world was ENOLA GAY and Its PAYLOAD[Was it Fat-boy?]That made the USA absolute winner of 2ND World War.#2 is MIG21 it was the main reason of American loss in Vietnam.#3 should go to B52 Bomber that kept the Soviets under control.
As far as aircraft carriers are concerned they are actually sitting ducks in front of todays weaponry but pride of the Nation{JUST BECAUSE THEIR SIZE IS SO AWE INSPIRING}

I think I saw that....its defanetly the most useful weapon. And I'd say second most powerful. But an Ohio class submarine is the most distructive force on the face of the planet!
