I'm guilty of waiting until theres only 3 or 4 people left and then usually vote right on until the last show.

I started voting at the end of season 4 but now I vote from the beginning I'll get about 5 faves that i wanna get it top 12 after that i decide on the one I like best and stick with them

I love American Idol.. But I got to the point no matter who I voted for, they didn't make it to the next round most of the time.. So this year I am waiting until the last 2 are up.. Then I vote for who I really like. and I think it's going to be a close contest this year..

I usually wait longer, too. Tonight I tried voting (so far I couldn't get through) because I really, really hope the best singers go on! It would be horrible to have a couple of the good ones go, just 'cause they are not so popular...
I wonder maybe that is the reason the producers are putting a couple of really sweet good-looking-but-can't-sing-so-good singers on there, just to show voters that you need to vote to get your favourites through???

I vote every night. I vote ten times for my favorite male contestant and I vote ten times for my favorite female contestant. Then when we get to the final 12, it looks like I will only be voting for Melinda.

I do usually vote for all my favorites, until they get kicked off.
But I usually end up voting for both finalist, b/c they always seem to both be in my favorites.
