As I was driving to my wedding, someone did just that!!! I said, "What a terrible thing to do on my wedding day." My VERY innocent and precious mother said, "Oh! But they were saying, 'Good Luck,' dear." My dear little mommy. I miss her so much.

I would assume you meant I was number #1 and were waiving to show your appreciation for my consistent use of the turn signals and other equipment my car has that I use.
So many nowadays don't bother with turn signals or to waive and say thanks for letting them pull out into traffic.
