When are you going to get the results of the blood test? A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days following conception.
Pregnancy tests done in a doctor's office are more senstive then the ones you buy out in stores because on theirs a positive result will show up 8-10 days after sex.
Maybe you are just stressed out. Just call for the results of the blood cause after all blood doesn't lie.
Good luck

There is always a chance that you are not far enough along to have a positive test result. I think pregnancy tests are extremely accurate. So accurate that I found out that I was pregnant with my 11 month old, by using a .99 cent store pregnancy test. There are some cases where women go some time without detecting pregnancy, but I think it's rare. There might be another reason for your missed period. Stress is a huge cause. Wait a bit longer and try again to take a test.

Yes there is still a chance. Urine is not as accurate as blood tests. SO you will know for sure when you get your blood results back. The level of the preg. hormone will double every 48 hours so you may want to go in 48 hours after your last blood test and do one more (that is only if there is enough hormone in your blood to show a positive result.) Good luck!

If you normally have a regular period and are now late getting it you could be pregnant. Urine test pick up on a certain amount of hCG if there is not enough present then it gives a negative result.. Wait the week and if you still do not get your period take the second test.. Maybe then you will have enough in your body for the test to pick up on.. Best of Luck.....

They are usually 100% accurate however in the extremely early stages a false negative is not unusal (a false positive is more unusual ie. a test saying you're pregnant when you're not). Even the home tests are 99.9% accurate (they can't say 100% just in case!). If you're not convinced, have another test done or wait a few more weeks for your period. It may just be late.

It is possible to get a false neg...If they took blood that will give you a more accurate result....sometimes hcg in the urine cannot be detected early in pregnancy...so a blood test is much better....Good Luck!

They are extremely accurate, but it depends on how much hCG you have in your body, which is a result of how far along you are. Usually one week after your missed period is the best time to test. Good luck.

I would say that they are almost always correct.... unless you are taking them before a missed period. I am pregnant now... and before when i thought i was pregnant i took test, always negative.... but of course this last one i took ... came up positive right away. I would have to say they are pretty gosh darn accurate.

The doctor's test are usually correct. But if the doctor took blood i would wait to see what it is. Just wait and see.
