Put that on a resume and see if they hire you.

For any reasonably intelligent person, High School is a joke. I read the same books my senior year of high school that I read in 6th grade and no, the discussions on the books weren't didn't dig any deeper. The 2 years of history I had to take in high school covered the same years as all the years of history I had to take in elementary and middle schools just in less depth. And guess what, history hadn't changed. My recommendation, get a GED, move on to college and don't look back.

PS A lot of college courses are a joke to so choose carefully. If you are going to spend the money for tuition, make sure you major in something worthwhile.

Being tired of school and not feeling motivated usually hits around high school.......at least it's not long before you will be finished with this 13 year journey. My daughter was tired of school by 3rd grade........it was a looooooooooooong journey for us! there was one big sigh of relief when she graduated!

When she went to college, she loved it! It offered more freedom and she enjoyed the classes.

Just hang in there. You may feel you are not getting anything from school, but there is one thing you are getting...a diploma at the end of 12th grade! It's the stepping stone to your future and necessary.

Research the G.E.D in your state. In some states it's the exact same as a 4-year high school diploma. Meaning you can take a 4hr test to get the same thing other people do in 4yrs and still get into college no problem.

I know exactly how you feel. But you have to do it. So get up and go to school and put up with it. In a few years you can escape and do whatever you want, but you're going to need that piece of paper, I'm telling you.

I totally understand how you feel.I hated school and felt like a number and knew it would be easy to slip thru the cracks because I felt like all they cared about was taking a head count so they would get their pay.I ended up getting kicked out my Junior year because I was a total **ck up.My advice to you is PLEASE take your GED find your nitch in life and follow your dreams.Do what makes you happy, but don't drop out of school.Good Luck to you.

You are to blame for your own attitude. Get your lazy b*** out of bed and go to school. At least do not complain when you can not get a decent paying job for the rest of your life.

I think you need to do exercise and adopt a better sleeping habit. Try to sleep early and the alarm clock can help get up on time. It's terrible to miss school as a school student. You can try to seek help from your family,or your teachers.
