Although you'll probably get plenty suggesting Monster.com and a host of other sites, why not just go to your yellow pages and start looking at local businesses with computer/office jobs? Call the banks, investments firms, accountants, insurance agents, and other places... your goal is to get employed... you can always switch jobs/careers later. I'd keep my call simple, something like: "Hi, this is _________. Could you use some part-time or full-time help?" Keep an open mind about part-time employment... it can often lead to full-time work. Good luck.

All I can think of is to maybe check with the college where you earned your BA degree, and check with the office there as to whom you can speak to about your plight.
Also: check your state unemployment office, They usually always have jobs available..

Maybe you could do a diploma or a specialization course on the subject you want to pursue? A post-grad always helps!
