so i've honestly grown up w/ the simpsons lol im almost 19..and im pretty sure its gunna end soon. is anyone esle gunna be sad? did anyone "grow up" with the simpsons?

Im almost 20 and I have to say that I grew up with the Simpsons as well. Everything I know, I owe it to them lol!
Yes I will be sad when it ends, but it had a good run (extremely good run...look in the Guiness book). The newer episodes don't have the same impact the old ones did. The first few seasons were classics. You're right, I do think the show will end soon since the movie is coming out this year. The end is not very far my fellow fans!

I'm 35 so I didn't really grow up with The Simpsons but I have been watching them since they were shorts on The Tracey Ullman show. I love the show but, the newer episodes, while still pretty good, are not nearly as good as the older episodes. The show is losing its impact but, since it'll be around forever in syndication, I won't really be sad. And Family Guy makes a good replacement for the Simpsons.

I'm a little younger than you. I too feel sad when I realise its gonna end. I can't imagine a world without it. But I don't it will end all of a sudden. Thats what I hope for.

I also grew up with them.
The first time I saw them was when I was in 5 grade and it was the christmas special when they get santas little helper
