I know this sounds crazy, but if it's for a temporary thing you could use one of those above ground swimming pools. You didn't mention what it was for. I think that's what they do at the marine research facilities when they have a temporary transport. You could do this or build your own. However, my father built his own and he found that after he purchased the thick glass, paid to have it cut, and purchased the framing for the base, it was cheaper just to buy a pre-made one.

I don't know about breaking the bank, but what are you going to place the tank on, It will weigh well over a ton? I've seen 300 to 500 gallon stainless steal tanks for sale at an Army surplus depot.

You could build your own to save money have never seen that big of tank for sale anywhere building your own isn't so difficult plexy glass and wood framing you could do it

A 300gal tank is going to weigh 2670lbs. with just water in it.
Check where you are going to place the tank for stability, Make sure your floor is structurally sound to support that amount of weight.
