The New Mexico Prairie Dogs :) Just Kidding....How about Bandits? Or the Marshall's?

Arkansas' should be something french, since the team would likely be placed in La Petit Roche (Little Rock). The name should be based on Arkansas' history and heritage, but also have some alliteration going on with whatever town the team is based on. The Bentonville Bostonians, (for the Boston Mountains), The Fayetteville Hill Warriors (Fay'vul is referred to has "the Hill" within Arkansas, Little Rock Rockets, Little Rock Diamonds (from the arkansas diamond mines), etc.

Arkansas Son's Of Sam...Because they'd probably own the team if it were in Arkansas...And they'd play in Sam Walton Stadium...or Wal-Mart Stadium...or Field...take your pick...

I would go with the Albuquerque Aztecs as a New Mexico team.

For Arkansas, I'd probably go with the Bentonville Millionaires. Wal-Mart's home town is fast becoming a popular place for businessmen to live and its already got a great stadium (paid for by Wal-Mart of course) that's of NFL caliber but used by a high school team.

I actually gave this some thought:

New Mexico: Roadrunners (which is the state bird).

Arkansas: I'm not so sure about since Razorback is already taken. Maybe rattlesnacks (or rattlers). Everytime I've been in Arkansas, I've seen a snake.
